Fine Details
Ceremony sites are available on Saturdays and Sundays only, between the hours of 4pm and 8pm.
2 hours are allotted for set-up, 1 hour for the ceremony and 1 hour for breakdown of any street obstacles to allow for street opening.
All Weddings Include
Organizing street closures
Meetings with a city staff member prior to wedding date to help plan logistics
City staff present to assist with traffic and general public
Area cleaned and maintained prior to ceremony
Staff member on-call on day of event
- Chairs
- Tables
- Any furnishings that do not require to be anchored down.
- Tents, with exceptions. It is the renter‘s responsibility to contact the Fire & Inspections Departments to arrange for all tent inspections that are required by the City of Goldsboro ordinance.
- A requested genre of music to be played over Center Street speaker system during ceremony, with 7 days prior notice.
- Tents on the street or in the paver/brick areas that require anchoring.
- No standing or setting up of fixtures in the landscaped areas/flower beds.
- No digging.
- No commercial stages. Platforms are permitted with prior approval based on dimensions.
- Only available outlets can be used. No unplugging items to allow for additional power sources.
- No substances are allowed in the fountain.
- No receptions.
- Alcohol not permitted.
